User Management

User creation/deletion/password change

User management allows administrators to add, delete users, and change passwords.

In "User Creation", manual entry is possible for each item.

"User creation (CSV)" allows you to register and update multiple users at once. Please register according to CSV format.


Set up administrative privileges, group leaders, and payroll responsibilities

Users with administrator privileges can grant the following various privileges to other users.

  • Administrator Authority
  • group leader
    • Moderator privileges will be granted in the web conference. You can also approve attendance and view attendance access logs.
  • Payroll Manager
    • Only the attendance management function can be accessed.

Various Functional Restrictions

Functionality restrictions allow you to restrict the display of various functions such as web conferencing, documents, schedules, workflows, and attendance.

Allow user account creation

Set this to off to restrict user account creation to administrators only.

Allow group name changes

Turn off to restrict group name changes to administrators only.

Allow sharing with different groups

Set this to off if you do not want to share data with different groups. If you set this to off, details will be displayed and the "Sharing control within the same group" screen will be displayed, where you can set whether to control at the top or bottom of the group.Based on this control, display restrictions will be placed on users displayed in member lists and various functions.

Allow file uploads

Turn off if you do not want to allow file uploads.

Group hierarchy display separator

If you want to change the group hierarchy string /, set it here.

Preview links in messages

If you do not want to preview links in messages, set this to off. *If you use it on-premise, the CAMServer needs to connect to the Internet to get link URL information.

View the member tree and use direct messages

If you don't want to use direct messaging, turn it off.

Member tree shows only contacts

If you do not want to display all members on the chat screen, enable "Show only contacted members in member tree."

This option is essential in a large-scale user environment (approximately 5,000 or more users).

Allow modification of sent messages

Set to off to disallow modification of sent messages.

Deleted messages can only be viewed in "Message Management"

If you enable this option, messages will be soft deleted even if they are deleted by users.

Soft deleted messages can only be viewed by administrators.Message ManagementIt can be viewed on the screen.

Display the member tree and use direct messages. Details: Member tree displays only contacts. Allows modification of sent messages. Deleted messages can be viewed only in "Message Management".

Group Chat

Require approval when inviting users to chat rooms

If you turn on "Require approval to join chat room," the invited person will be asked to leave and confirm their participation.

Allow creation of public chat rooms

If on, the creation of public chat rooms that anyone can join is allowed.

Allow duplicate names in private chat rooms

Turn on to allow duplicate names in private chat rooms.

Automatically create chat rooms for your groups

If you want to automatically create chat rooms in conjunction with the groups to which the user belongs, set this to on. If this is on, the chat room will be created automatically when the user's group name is changed.

Auto-hide chat rooms

Enabling "Auto-hide chat rooms" will automatically hide rooms that have not been updated. Hiding rooms can improve performance.

Hidden chat rooms can be viewed using the ellipsis in the chat field on the chat screen, and hidden chat rooms can be "unhide" or "deleted."

Web Conference Settings

Resolution and frame rate are automatically adjusted according to network bandwidth, but administrator users can set the standard ``resolution'' and ``frame rate'' for web conferencing.

This allows you to forcibly lower the resolution according to the number of participants even if there is sufficient bandwidth throughout the network, saving the entire network.

Meeting Room & Facility Registration

You can manage which meeting rooms can be reserved at the time of schedule registration. Details,Meeting Room & Facility Registration for more information.

IP address restriction

By restricting IP addresses, only authorized IP addresses will be able to log in, increasing security.

Restricted Functions and Devices

Once restricted, only authorized IP addresses will be able to log in on all devices, desktop, browser, and mobile versions.

Unrestricted functions

The invitees are not restricted to quick web conferencing. This allows you to have web conferencing with teleworkers at home.

If you use on-premises CAMSever within your company's intranet, you will use a private IP address, so this feature is not used much, but if you use CAMSever in the cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure...), be sure to configure it.

Message Management

By using the message search, the administrator can view the entire chat and direct messages.

File upload limit

By setting file transfer restrictions, you can restrict the files that can be uploaded.

You can specify file extensions to allow or restrict.

If you do not specify an extension under "Allow," you can disable file uploads altogether.

file management

By using file management, the administrator can check the overall file size and delete files at will.

access log

Access logs for each user can be viewed on the management screen.

  • This management functionality is available in the Cloud Enterprise and on-premise Ultimate.
  • PC utilization status can be viewed when time and attendance management is enabled.

By setting passwords for various management functions, you can operate more securely.

Message search and file management cannot be used unless a password is set.

Notification function for administrators

An alert will be sent to the administrator user when the following operations are performed or the system reaches a certain state:

API Integration

By connecting with external systems and programs through API integration, you can achieve the following:

  • Linkage with internal systems and notification of business data to chat rooms
  • Detects errors in other systems and notifies relevant parties
  • Obtain schedule and meeting room reservation information and link to other systems
