About Email Settings

By setting up an on-premise, self-managed email server in the Email Settings, each user can be notified via email when a chat message is received.

Email settings in the admin panel

Set the SMTP server, SMTP port, STARTTLS, and sending address as shown in the image below, and perform the test. If the test is OK, please activate Email sending.

  • The SMTP port is 587 and STARTTLS is generally checked on.
  • After activation here, each user must activate "Email Notification" in the Notification Settings in the Extras menu.
  • Each user's email address and login ID must be the same.
