Android Push Notifications Can Be Delivered Without Internet Connection

TOC

On-premise Android version

  • Push notifications for Android are delivered from the Google servers that provide the OS, but with this support, push notifications can now be delivered directly from the on-premise CAMServer.
This enables real-time push notifications even for Android devices with restricted Internet access, such as factories, warehouses, hospitals, cargo ships, and classified agencies.

If you use this service, please select "Background Mode Enabled" from the "Other" menu.

    • When "Background Mode Enabled" is selected, you will be asked "Do you want to allow the app to run in the background at all times?" Please select "Allow".
    • On-premise CAMServer also needs to be updated.
    • The on-premise browser is delivered by the browser provider vendor (Google / Microsoft ...), but the web app version is already delivered by the on-premise CAMServer.
    • iOS is not supported due to OS limitations.

desktop version

  • v4.23.62 Offline sending to CAMServer now permanently saves option settings when transferring to CAMServer
  • v4.23.65 Fixed bugs related to font decoration
